Graphic Designer at VNYL
06/2017 - Present
I am responsible for anything and everything visual for VNYL. Every few weeks, I work with the CEO and marketing director to develop new campaign ideas. Once we come up with a direction for a campaign, it is my duty to execute emails, social media posts, videos, printed material and anything else we might need. I work closely with marketing and buyers to create assets highlighting new products and promotions for the company.
Graphic Designer at Joybird
08/2016 - 05/2017
Because our creative team at Joybird is so small and the company is so new, I’ve been able to do many different projects to strengthen our brand. I’ve done everything from designing landing pages, to putting together email blasts and sale assets, to creating print ads and direct mailer pieces.
Textile Graphic Designer at Hot Topic
05/2016 - 08/2016
While at Hot Topic, I designed repeating patterns for the women’s and men’s clothing lines. Using both provided assets and assets I created myself, I put together textiles for licensors including Disney, Hello Kitty, Harry Potter, among others.
Graphic Designer at Disney Interactive
06/2015 - 07/2016
As a Graphic Designer for Disney Interactive, I have a multitude of duties. Since the launch of Disney Infinity 3.0 late last year, I have been supporting my team by creating packaging, designing email blasts and social media posts, among other assets to promote the game.
Graphic Designer / Digital Production Artist at Disney Interactive
06/2014 - 06/2015
As a Digital Production Artist, I have a wide range of duties. I create email blasts promoting the newest characters coming to the Disney Infinity game, promotional screens for online games, and I have also worked on posters for Comic-Con promoting Marvel and Disney panels. I support my team, and have been able to quickly and efficiently take charge of many last minute work orders that have been thrown our way.
Art Department Intern at Vans
06/2013 - 08/2013
I was in charge of developing Vans' first ever archive. I gathered assets such as, ads, photos, newspaper clippings, shoes, and historical documents and designed a website to house them. Each of these pieces had to be digitally converted, so I had to either scan pieces in and retouch them in Photoshop or photograph them live. At the end of my internship, I presented the archive to the president of Vans, along with many others.
